Azmira® Rustic Feast Formula Dry Dog Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO dog food nutrient profiles for “All Life Stages”.

Sizes and Packaging: 5lbs., 15lbs., and 30lbs.

Adult Dogs: The standard amount of Azmira® dry to feed is one level 8oz measuring cup per every 25lbs of body weight per day (split into two separate feedings). Adjust the daily ration according to activity level, environment, or changing weather.

Pregnant or Lactating Dogs: Feed 1 and 1/2 times the amount of adult ration for same weight level. Three meals per day works best.

Puppies: Start feeding Azmira® canned food at three weeks, four meals per day, as gruel with warmed goat's milk. Slowly introduce crushed kibble as appetite increases. Continue increasing daily ration based on the puppy's own needs, feeding 1 and 1/2 times more of adult ration for same weight level.

Senior Dogs: May need daily ration reduced by 1/4 to 1/2 according to activity level. In general, when supporting an older, less active pet, Dr. Newman recommends feeding smaller meals three to four times per day and adding Azmira®'s canned food formula (moisten or crush kibble to help chewing and digestion).

Overweight and Underweight Dogs: Feed according to desired weight as listed below.

Switching Your Dog to Azmira®: Dr. Newman recommends the "direct change" method using the guidelines below.

Beware of Overfeeding: Poor assimilation, weight gain, loose stools, and gas may result from overfeeding. Follow the feeding guidelines below. For additional guidelines specific to your pet, please contact our Product Support Specialists today!

The Feeding Guidelines below use a standard 8oz measuring cup

  • Up to 12lbs: 1/2 cup or less per day

“I have been using Azmira products to help my rescued greyhounds for over twenty years and have always been given the right advice, until now. This time I have been given the greatest advice yet, which was to try a bag of their new turkey kibble called ‘Rustic Feast’. It sure did cause a stir in my household as all three of my girls, including Gal, my 12 y/o FINICKY, arthritic queen, gobbled down every single bite with great delight. I couldn’t believe how much more they liked it than the “top quality, no grain, brand-name natural diet” my vet convinced me to switch to a few years ago.” -Mary King (Tucson, AZ – From our Reviews Page)
